Updating a Family Room to produce a new mood with up-to-date colors and awareness of current trends. Adding a moody dark accent wall, and fewer, more considered accessories produced a vast change in the way the room was perceived. One of the things that always bothered the homeowner was the way the TV looked. Painting the entire wall dark camouflaged the TV very effectively. Awkward niches around the fireplace were used to display dramatic accessories and wine. A custom wine rack was designed for the niche below the TV, with a shelf for equipment.
